Access control units with built in 868 MHz radio receiver, advanced radio transmitters, 13.56 MHz read/write proximity, and bi-technology radio transmitters with proximity for long and short range access control in community and commercial installations, with up to 2000 users and the ability to manage and control users access.

Operating on the new European permitted frequency of 868.35 MHz exclusively for use by remote controls the MOTION range is not subject to interference from other radio signals such as wireless headphones, walkie-talkies, TETRA emergency communications system, etc

  • APPROACHING SYSTEM (APS) - Innovative APS transmission system, when a transmitter button is pressed it transmits its code for 5 seconds, the status LED then turns off, but the transmitter continues to send its signal at regular intervals for 15 seconds, thereby ensuring maximum transmitter to receiver range is achieved

  • INSTALLER CODE - A unique installer code can be added to the transmitters and proximity tags, once an access control unit has registered a transmitter or tag with an installer code, only transmitters and tags containing that installer code will operate the unit, this ensures that the original installer benefits from subsequent sales of additional transmitters and tags

  • TRANSMITTER AND TAG ID CODE - Each transmitter and proximity tag has a unique identification number electronically embedded and laser engraved on the back enabling users to be identified and managed

  • PROGRAMMING - Transmitters and proximity tags may be programmed into the control units memory in one of two ways

    • Manual programming - using the access control units self learning capability and integrated keypad and display, transmitters and proximity tags can be programmed and deleted indvidually or in groups (see below)

    • Computer programming - transmitters and proximity tags can be programmed and the installation managed by using a computer and the ASSISTANT software and programming tool (see below)

ADDITIONAL PROXIMITY FUNCTIONS dependant upon the type of tag and access control unit used the following functions are available

  • Pre-payment / discounting using the ASSISTANT programming tool a proximity tag may be allocated a number of points (prepayment) and every time the tag is used a number of points is taken from it (discounted), the amount of units to be discounted can be programmed for each proximity reader. The end user can be supplied with an ASSISTANT programmer and software to credit proximity tags, the software can be configured so that that the crediting of tags and setting of validity dates are the only functions allowed
  • Validity date function enables a valid from and an expiry date to be programmed, again this can be peformed by the end user using an ASSISTANT programmer and software
  • Kill pass function, when a proximty tags code is flagged with the kill pass command, the next time an attempt is made to use the tag it is destroyed and becomes unusable

INSTALLATION CREATION AND MANAGEMENT - The installation can be easily created and users managed using the ASSISTANT programming tool and management software along with a computer, the access control units removeable memory card is plugged into the ASSISTANT, the installation can then be created and managed using the computer software, the memory card is then replaced in the access control unit. Many of the functions described below can also be performed using the access control units integrated keypad and display

  • Single or sequential programming of transmitter and proximity tag codes, this enables up to 2000 codes to be programmed with just a few keystrokes
  • Cancellation of codes either individually or in goups, once cancelled the transmitters/tags will no longer be operational in the installation
  • Saving, copying, back up and restoring of installations with no limit to the amount of installations
  • Universal codes for use by installers and maintenance staff, enables a transmitter/tag to operate in all installations
  • Creation and mangement of user lists, it is possible to record users details against their particular transmitter/tag code, for example name, address, telephone number etc, the data fields can be easily customised
  • User groups enables you to effectively manage access to different areas of an installation
  • Code replacement of lost or stolen transmitter or tag, for example simply program a new transmitter/tag with the code of the lost one plus a replacement code, then simply press the transmitter button or activate the proximity reader with the tag whilst on site and the lost device code is deleted and replaced with the new one, the new transmitter/tag is still asigned to the original user
  • Reservation of memory slots for future additional users, simply enter the amount of reserves required when creating the installation, the programme will the asign a code to each slot, when a customer orders new transmitters or tags simply select a reserve code in the program add the users details if required, place the transmitter or tag on the ASSISTANT programming tool, the transmitter/tag is now enabled in the system, send the transmitter/tag to the customer
  • Events memory cards can be installed in the access control units, should details of entry or exit be required the events can be viewed by plugging the events card into the ASSISTANT, where details will be shown including user, date, time etc
  • Export and import user lists for editing in Excel
